They won't mention this on Dateline NBC when they air his story, but William Rowell IS a Upoc perv. We saw his name in this news report, (click) a name all too familiar to us. We had been alerting Upoc to Rowell's trolling and grooming of underage kids since December 2005. Of course, like with all of their pervs, Upoc did nothing except take steps to protect him.

None of that matters now, other than we certianly hope  he didn't gather any additional victims from his use of the Upoc service to find and meet little girls. Rowell was caught in the "To Catch a Predator" dragnet, pleaded guilty, and was handed six years in jail. Here's a quote from that news report:

 William Bryor Rowell, 35, Conyers, who was still in jail, was sentenced to six years to serve and four on probation for attempted child molestation July 26, and 10 years on probation, consecutive, for attempted statutory rape.

Here's his current Upoc profile (click) and keep in mind that as soon as Upoc sees this report, they'll probably delete Rowell's account. So, we also screengrabbed it for posterity and posted it below for the whole world to see.

You can see he's in only one public usergroup at this time, which is a reflection of the pressure we put on him by alerting other Upoc users to this perv in their midst for over a year. We're very pleased this dangerous predator was taken off the streets and off the internet, and once again it's shown that Upoc is a haven for pedophiles, child predators, trollers and groomers.

Because Upoc likes having them around, in their site which is geared and marketed towards kids.
